7UP Pound Cake
This recipe has been handed down for four generations within my family. Perfection has come out of every attempt for this jewel of a pound cake. The flavor and moisture alone is enough to just make your mouth water. It's beauty after baking is framable for any bake sale, and consider the prize all yours once you have tried this simple but rich recipe. Follow along with me as I add the ingredients listed below:
5 Eggs
3 Cups all purpose flour
3 Cups of Sugar
1/2 cup Crisco
2 Sticks of butter
Cream the ingredients listed above together until they become sooth
1 tsp Lemon flavor
1 tsp Vanilla flour
Preheat oven at 350 degrees
Mix ingredients well for approximately 2-5 minutes with a mixer, depending on your texture.
Grease and flour the cake pan.
Pour ingredients into the pan and bake for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on the oven settings you may want to allow 15-20 more minutes.
Recommendation: Use a tub pan for best results!
